Five One Group

Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

Five One Group recognises our moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work environment for employees, contractors, clients and visitors. It places great importance on Occupational Health & Safety and is committed to providing safe work sites for our employees and sub-contractors.

We operate to a clearly defined set of company policies and procedures. Our OH&S procedures generated in consultation by Master Builders Association of Victoria, forming part of our overall OH&S system.

All our Site Managers have undertaken comprehensive training so as to be fully conversant with the System and each project has a site-specific safety plan containing all safe work policies, procedures and inductions relevant to the scope of work being undertaken. These safety plans must be reviewed and signed by all Employees and Sub-Contractors on site.

In addition, Five One Group’s Sub-Contractor management process incorporates OH&S requirements and ensures Sub-Contractors are aware of the OH&S rules and regulations that apply. They are also required to provide current details of all relevant insurances as a Sub-Contractor.

Environmental Policy

Five One Group places great importance for the protection of the environment and recognises that without appropriate procedures and control measures, it has the potential to cause damage to the environment.

Five One Group endeavours that such procedures and control measures are in place to safeguard the environment, whether required by statute or otherwise. We undertake to keep to an absolute minimum all forms of pollution during our construction and building activities and recycle materials wherever possible.
